Massapequa Reformed Church Nursery School

The Massapequa Reformed Church Nursery School is open five days a week from 9:30am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday, except for School Holidays. Children may attend two, three or five day sessions. We offer sessions from 9:30am to 12 noon or 12:30pm to 3:00pm.

The Massapequa Reformed Church Nursery School has been part of the Massapequa community for over 25 years. Presently the Nursery School services 250 children, ages 3 to 5 years old.

The Nursery School is a nonprofit, nonsectarian program whose purpose is to provide a half-day nursery school program that will benefit the child, the parent and the community.

Our goals for the child is to provide opportunities for being with other children in a setting conducive to the development of wholesome social relationships. To provide opportunities for meaningful play that is based on the child's individual needs, interest and abilities. For the parents we hope to provide opportunities to meet with and work with other parents and teachers who have as their common concerns, the interest and needs of the preschool child. For the community we hope to provide a setting where people of various religious and ethnic backgrounds can work together for a common interest, "The Children."

Parents can pre-register their child by coming into the Nursery School or by telephone. We suggest this be done as early as possible. Our policy is Church Members and Siblings are given preference. The December before your child is to attend you will receive information about availability.
